Formerly known as BHM (Brisbane Hanger Manufacturing Co), Commercial Dry Cleaning Solutions (COMDCS) is a second-generation family business launched in 1977.
From our base in Mansfield, Queensland, we supply quality equipment, servicing and consumables for a large network of commercial dry cleaner clients nationwide.
Our evolution
For two decades under the BHM banner, our business exclusively manufactured and sold high-quality metal hangers to dry-cleaners and large retailers. Now we focus on dry-cleaning exclusively. Manufacturing has been replaced by the highest quality consumables, leading brands of detergents and chemicals, and hand-selected machinery.
Supporting Australian dry cleaners
We equip our clients with machinery, personal servicing, repairs, chemicals, accessories and consumables. To augment this process, our industry experts also provide a consultancy service for new dry-cleaners and existing owners who wish to explore profitable new possibilities in their business. In this capacity, we advise on workflow, store fit-out and machinery selection for improved performance and efficiency.

Each piece of machinery we sell has been hand-selected by our founder, who brings 20+ years of industry expertise to the sourcing process. Clients can benefit from our exclusive licensing deals with prestigious manufacturers such as ILSA Drycleaning Machines, Forenta Finishing Equipment, Sidi Mondial Finishing Equipment and YAC Japan – makers of the world’s fastest shirt finisher.
Personal servicing
We provide scheduled and breakdown servicing to maintain optimum performance and extend the life of the products we sell. Our in-house technicians personally perform all servicing and repairs – we never sub-contract.
Comprehensive consumables
Clients can stock up on everything they need to do business in the one place with us. A premium garment storage service is available for wedding gowns and other formal wear. All dry-cleaning consumables are covered, including:
- Detergents and spotters for all solvents in the Australian market supporting, Perc, Hydrocarbon, Green Earth, Intense, K4, Wet Cleaning and new SENSENE by Safechem (Dow).
